For some reason I always end up writing blogs when I watch Duran Duran.
I watched clips of their Halloween show on You Tube. And of course you get recommendations on what to watch next. In this case: The Cure.
Well, yes. I do like The Cure. They sometimes dwell on the darker side of life and that is not always where I want to be. However, I am not afraid of the dark (anymore) . The stars come out at night and I love the mystic of the moon. Besides, there is just as much evil in the daytime that we don’t even see. Even when we are standing in front of it. So no more fear of the dark for this star here!
Anyway, I clicked on The Cure’s video. Which started with the haunted drums and melody of the song. That immediately caught me! From the first notes I got hit with this intense sadness and heavy feeling. Which is in my opinion their trademark and what I love about them. When he started singing I just felt he was representing most of the human population! From what I saw I can only guess he felt the same way when a tear run down his face.
I think it’s safe to say that I think that the world is in dire need of some much needed fun!! I know that I do! So back to Duran Duran videos it was. It was during another Duran video that I felt the desire to express my feelings.
Last weekend I attended an event for family constellations. I entered a coach question that I had. We did a family constellation for a my question which gave me a lot of clarity. The entire day was just another fantastic experience and it gave me great insights. It made me realise that it is time for me to step (back) into the light. Be the light. Become more seen…
This blog is my attempt to share my thoughts and visions. Maybe it resonates? Maybe it does not. Either way is fine with me because just sharing this with you makes me feel good.
I think what I am trying to say is that the world needs more happiness. More colour. It’s been black and white for too long. It’s good to know that there are parts that are dark/heavy and cold. In the nighttime. However, these people that are in that place look up and do see the stars and the moon. And I can only assume that most of them can appreciate the beauty of it too. They know that the night is not going to last forever. They can feel the positive vibes from the people that are in the light by looking at the stars. They follow their North star in these times.
The people in the daytime are experiencing the warmth of the sun. If people in the sun keep feeling guilty about being in the light there is no way we can help the people in the dark. Besides, being out in the sun too long is not good for you either! Those in the nighttime might feel sorry for those in the daytime because the heat of the sun can be cruel too.
My solution for helping those in the dark is to shine my light so bright that it just shines the far into the dark….. I am going to be that light at the end of the tunnel. People can follow that light and end up being the star. Even if it helps just one person I have done my job. Like a pebble that’s thrown in the water. The ripple effect will put everything in motion. Have you seen what happened to the millennium bridge in London when it first opened? Even when it’s not orchestrated people tune into each other. At the moment mostly on a negative level. You can make the most solid structure collapse. This happening to the world as we speak. Old structures are collapsing. It’s time to tune into positivity again. The old is destroyed and it’s time to build new structures again. You cannot even start to imagine what kind of positive things you can attract when you tune into positivity!! I’ve seen and experienced what happens when you connect with your inner strength! It is truly magical! I am not kidding!
To quote another eighties song: The future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades.
If you are not familiar with eighties (music) you might want to check it out. I am at that age that I still feel inspired from that time because I connect with my inner child that way. And I feel very grateful that I am once again connected with that spirit. It was definitely not perfect then. Especially for me personally it was difficult to find my way. But it made me into the person I am now. I connect with that energy of that time that felt that anything was possible if you really wanted it. I can look at that time with adult eyes and take the pure and childlike energy to this moment in time to create opportunities for the future. We need to bring colour to the world again… You need both the sun and the rain to create a rainbow! Let’s start dancing in the rain!! Or in The dark….with Bruce Springsteen…. hahaha….
I am going to start this party and I hope more people are going to join me. I am going to connect with the fun frequency! The world works like an old fashioned radio. Once we tune into the same frequency we can hear each other (again). And before you start I will say in advance that there will be all kinds of music not just eighties haha…. so don’t worry there is something for everybody.
For now I am going to get my Rayban sunglasses. Put on some legwarmers and my fingerless gloves and put on Duran Duran’s Future Past album! So there you go. Another blog just because I wanted to have a relaxed day watching my favorite videos.
